For youth corpers it is clear that the little monthly allowance paid to them by the government during their one year of service to the fatherland is hardly enough to sustain with. Graduates on the other hand who are yet to secure a job find it tougher making ends meet. So what can you as a youth corper or unemployed graduate do to make for yourself a decent income
while you strive for better, permanent source of livelihood?
These are 7 ideas and ways to build wealth.
These ideas cannot make you millions overnight but some of them have the potential to earn you a mid-level, very comfortable income that you may no longer need to pursue a conventional job. Though, a rare few can do exploits.
1. Private Tutoring
Depending on where you stay you can explore the opportunities in teaching as this has helped many people train themselves in school and continue to make decent income. You can make money teaching school pupils, secondary school students in their homes as a home tutor. You can schedule flexible lesson periods to ensure you can take up teaching in at least two or three families. If you are posted to a school or stay close to some schools you can arrange and publicise extra lessons for students in return for a fee. Pupils and students in the terminal levels of their education need special lessons.
Approach their parents and agree with them on some convenient price. To do this however you will have to be very good in the subjects you intend to teach (good knowledge of science subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry etc will stand you a better chance as they are the most sought after in schools)

If you look hard and carefully enough around you you are bound to notice some items consumed in large enough quantity in your vicinity but without a steady and present source of supply. That is the green light you need to cash in on bringing in those items and selling to the people who need them. The good thing is that you may not need a physical shop. You can source and deliver to the shops and small sellers who then sell to
customers.
