Unbelievable! Why Failure is A Must

failure is necessary and a must
Yeah! that's certainly right. I know you are curious and wondering why the analogue, despite the core negative impacts that results from it.
Am afraid that's the funny truth...
Failure is often looked down upon as unfortunate and unwanted. And the emotions associated with failure are typically disappointment, shame, anger and intense depression. But if people viewed failure as a step to success and a learning opportunity then, they would end up being much more successful in the end.

Thomas Watson, the original Chairman and CEO of IBM, once said “The fastest way to succeed is to double your failure rate.” I sincerely believe that.

In sales management and in marketing you must experiment a lot and this means that you will fail often and fail a lot before you can succeed. In fact, in work and in life, failure is an absolutely essential ingredient for success.

Fail Fast
Thomas Edison famously designed more than 1,000 light bulbs before finding one that worked. As he was doing so, the public and scientific community regarded his oddity of an experiment as a grand failure. In fact, upon his successful invention of the light bulb, a reporter asked him, “How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?” “I didn’t fail 1,000 times,” Edison answered. “The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.” That is the right attitude. Each ostensible ‘failure’ is a learning experience, a baby step you have to take in order to reach your desired destination.
As a sales or marketing manager, you can’t simply rely on tried and true practices – everybody is doing those things, including your competitors. Instead, be bold and go where no one has gone before . Don’t be afraid to experiment with new things – don’t be afraid to fail. An experiment is still a success even if the test fails to give you a desired outcome. So then you just iterate and experiment again. Edison certainly “failed” over a thousand times and look what he achieved. Go create new paths and you just might discover something valuable you otherwise might not have tried before.

Here are some tips why you must fail to succeed;

#1 Failure makes you stronger:
Overcoming obstacles and picking ourselves up is what leads us to be proud–of our strength, our courage, and our adversity.

When you learn failure through one area of your life, you can apply the same lessons to the other areas in your life. Getting over a hump at work can show you how capable you are of overcoming obstacles. When you learn to be fearless professionally, you can learn to become fearless in your social life. You’ll be less afraid to make new connections, take chances with people, and truly put yourself out there.

Failure is a blessing disguised as a curse. Don’t ever fear failure, embrace it and know that it is necessary.

#2 Failure measures our wants:
Failure allows us to see how hard we are willing to work at something in order to achieve it. If you fail and don’t find yourself too bothered by it, then you were walking in the wrong direction. Failure is a tool that we can use to guide us when we are unsure of our direction.

When we fail, we come to a crossroads.

We can either decide that our endeavor is not what we actually want, or we can realize just how much we want this for ourselves. At that point, we can redirect our focus, or we can choose to try again.

Never forget Mark Zuckerberg, Carlos Slim and the richest Bill Gate once failed on trial, and pondered on despair or another try...a motivating strength. hence trying harder heeled success.
Trying is never a waste of time. And failure isn’t either.

#3 Failure aids perfection:
The only way to better yourself or chase your dream, is to constant progress. It is through failure that we are able to see what we can improve, where we went wrong, and how we can do it better.

The biggest companies in the world have failed a thousand times before they became the multi-billion dollar brands they are today.

Bill Gates even as a drop-out, established Traf-O-Data that failed before the creation of Microsoft. It was that initial failure that led him to become the best version of himself. His failure was not a setback, but a driving force that skyrocketed him beyond his inexperienced competitors.
Failure is a part of progress and success only comes with risks. If you are not failing then you are not succeeding.

#4 The earlier you fail; you earlier your fears flee:
When you are not afraid of failure, the world is yours to conquer.

The sooner you fail and realize that you are capable of picking yourself back up, the better. The first time you fail it might be scary. You might feel helpless and hopeless.

But you always pick yourself up. Why? Because you have to. And, as soon as you see that your life did not fall apart when you failed, you will rid yourself of that irrational fear that the unknown brings. Everybody must fail someday; either in relationship, education or business.

Failure builds your fearlessness and prowess. Fail fast and assume your innate mandate.
